Something for every taste...

Once again, last weekend...two weddings, two very different styles.
That's what's so fun about design...you get to
use your creativity in so many ways!

The first bouquet is so elegant and simple...
Cala lilies, lily grass and variegated flax leaves...
A classy, simple boutonniere wrapped in gold bullion ...
Added to these were some fun table arrangements in glass globes with
dahlias, scabiosa and orchids...
The next bouquet was a request for red...
 Red, Red and more RED!
Hot and romantic!
Monochromatic bouquets are really eye catching!
Along with a classic red rose boutonniere...

Let us know about your special requests...anytime...
Thanks for stopping by!

What's new!

There's been some gorgeous new additions to the shop...
...here's a little taste to temp you!

Some new jewelry...just have a look at these pieces...etched amber!
 The detail is stunning
this one is a brooch AND a pendant!
A few more new pieces of amber...we LOVE amber here!
This is a beautiful set made with raw amber and turquoise...
We also have some new stud earrings, perfect for a little girl or
for those days when you just don't want to do 'fussy'...
And you know that the rains are coming...embrace it with a copper rain chain...
Speaking of being indoors...we've just got in some really unusual indoor
tropicals to bring the garden back in for the winter...
Have you ever seen these plants?

they don't need any soil!
Just some misting and some warmth...
Of course there's the ever popular and bizarre Venus Flytrap...
Kids love these...what a great introduction to the world of plants...
Who could resist this sweet little rose?
This one you can put outside but give it a nice, protected spot and maybe
a little burlap for it's first winter.
Owl lovers anyone?
Cutest little jugs ever!
Have you got a bird watcher on your gift list?
These pottery birdhouses are just perfect!
...and of course we've always got the most lovely fresh flowers...
everyday!

Thanks for stopping by!

Two weddings...

Just a little peek at two different wedding designs from last weekend.
The first was quite exotic and elegant using
white phaleonopsis orchids...
 How gorgeous is that?!
Some bouquets don't need a large variety of flowers to look stunning!
A pretty white wristlet with freesias and asters...
...and a single orchid corsage...
The boutonniere's were of the same simple elegance...
As for the table arrangements, the bride wanted to keep with the white pallet
wanting to convey a 'natural' look.
'Paniculata' hydrangeas were used along with ferns, curly willow and clematis buds.
All beautifully arranged in galvanised, low, long containers...
The second wedding was captured with the warmth of fall colours and
a more 'country', loose look to the bouquet...
Rosemary, along with bay leaf (yes, it smelled wonderful!)
and solidago, was used for filler along with
scabiosa and rudbekia to set off the romance of deep red roses,
tangerine gerberas and full faced local sunflowers...
The stems were wrapped in fresh hosta leaves and french tied with raffia...
The smaller version on the right was for the maid of honor...
A small haircomb was also fashioned from the same floral tones for the bride...
Simple boutonniere's with bay leaf and roses for the menfolk...
A touch of rosemary for the groom...
And there you have it.
Two very different design ideas, both coming out
as gorgeous as always!
